Outlook 2016 does not connect to Exchange Online servers

After changing networks Outlook 2016 refuses to connect to the Exchange Online servers.

A quick fix is the restart the machine or run the following steps:

  1. Close Outlook 2016
  2. Open command prompt
  3. Type command "ipconfig/flushdns"
  4. Start Outlook 2016

Check staus bar to ensure it has connected to Microsoft Exchange server.
